My approach brings together hypnotherapy, neuroscience, memory reconsolidation, sound judgement and life experience.
Clients are often surprised by how straightforward a session with me feels. It is certainly not wacky or woo-woo. You remain in control the whole time.
Your mind does the work – I just guide it.
Think of it as tending to the soil and roots underpinning your life. Clear the old roots, turn over the earth and compost, give it air and nutrients, and suddenly there’s room for something sturdier to grow, and your own Emotional Mycelium® to flourish.
MY LIFE HAS BEEN SHAPED BY MANY CULTURES AND GEOGRAPHIES
(and why that matters)
Before training as a Rapid Transformational Therapist and Certified Hypnotherapist, I spent three decades living and working in different countries – mostly in West and Central Africa, Egypt and the Middle East. Every area had its own tempo and its own cultural uniqueness.
I learnt such a lot from living in so many places and watching how people carry their history whilst seldom mentioning it.
You realise how often strength looks like gentleness, and how often fear masquerades as competence. You understand how culture shapes behaviour, and how the subconscious shapes everything beneath that. Emotional Mycelium® is everywhere, and being the mother of four boys (now adults) also taught me what human nature looks like unmasked: the resilience, the contradictions, the comedy, the courage, the complexities.
That worldly, textured understanding is the foundation of my work.
It means I don’t get easily shocked, phased or tangled, and I understand complexity.
A Therapist with a Pastoral Heart
Although my adult life has been nomadic, my childhood roots go back to the rolling hills of the English Cotswolds. That early grounding has never left me. It’s why my approach is calm, holistic, patient, perceptive, quietly firm and entirely devoid of AI.
In fact, I would dearly love to see AI blend more ‘Ancestral Intelligence’ with ‘Artificial Intelligence’ !
Why I Do This Work
It is thrilling to see someone reclaiming their own ‘agency’ or latent courage, and their daily life becoming more joyful. Clients tell me how after a session their breathing slows down, their sleep is better, and their decisions, choices and relationships improve.
My clients stop rehearsing the same painful internal loops. They start living from the inside out, instead of from the outside in.
Clients often describe it as:
‘Feeling like a weight finally shifted’
‘Understanding the pattern that controlled my life’
‘Being able to breathe properly for the first time in years’
That is why I love to do this work, helping client nurture their roots so they can thrive.
